Amazing location in Old Quarter. The room was surprisingly quiet (we were at the back), large, good air conditioning and the beds firm but comfortable. As long you realise it is an old property with dated bathrooms, hence the low price, you will appreciate it is great value for money. They also did our laundry for a good price.

Lucky Hotel though centrally located, the rooms are very silent. The owners are always smiling and very, very helpful. The market area is around the hotel, so no need to spend on travelling. Most of the tourist spots are walkable. The superior rooms are huge and have a palatial feel...antique furniture, rarely found these days.

The couple who run this hotel are incredible. They are so unbelievably kind and work such long hours. It is clear they really care about the hotel and their customers. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The balcony was extremely spacious and cute, the AC worked great. There was maid service everyday. Overall very great stay and the staff really made you feel like it was a home away from home. When I was rushing to get my stuff together to check out, one of the maids told me not to rush even though I was a few minutes after the check out time and then helped me double check my room to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything.

I like the quaint look of the hotel. It’s very affordable (booked the executive suite 3 nights for only around $130) and the location is right at the center of the old quarter. Everything is within walking distance. The room is also very spacious and quiet at night. The mattress is hard but surprisingly when you lie down, it still feels comfortable, maybe the soft pillow makes up for it. It has a hairdryer, bidet and fridge too. Super worth the price. This is actually a replacement hotel that I booked at the last minute since the hotel that I originally booked told me 2 days before the trip that they had to cancel my reservation. I’m so grateful to Lucky Hotel.

The rooms are not very luxurious but very spacious for Hanoi and contain everything you need. The best things about this hotel are its very central location, without the street noise, and the extremely helpful, smiling and friendly staff. I recommend it for a few nights in Hanoi!

The Staff were so nice. I had some issues with my delayed flight and had to contact them last minute to ask for late check in. They were extremely helpful. Also the location is exceptional.

Good location, comfy bed and good pillows. The English of the staff was mixed and they weren't able to help with swapping big notes, for smaller change, which was surprising. Very clean and plenty of space.

Staff were fantastic, location exceptional close shops and food.plenty transport options. We needed to get to the train station took 6 minutes by taxi.room was a decent size plenty of space with all our lugage
